Faculty Position in Operations at ESSEC Business School

The Operations Management Department of ESSEC Business School invites applications for a tenure-track position as professor in the area of operations management, starting fall 2013. Candidates on all tenure levels are welcome (assistant, associate, and full professor level). Candidates should have completed their Ph.D. or doctorate in the area by August 2013 and possess outstanding research and teaching qualifications. Candidates for an associate or full professor position should have a substantial scholarly research record as evidenced by publication in top-tier journals.

We are looking for candidates with a strong research interest and/or track record in an operations core area as well as broad teaching abilities in operations in general. Preference will be given to candidates with research interest in either (sustainable) operations management, new product development, or purchasing management. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

Applicants are expected to publish in top-tier international journals and to teach on undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate level. Courses can be taught in English (preferred) or in French. The position will be based on the campus in Cergy, France.
