HELORS 2025: 10th International Symposium and 32nd National Conference on Operational Research

The Hellenic Operational Research Society (HELORS) and the School of Production Engineering and Management of the Technical University of Crete are honored to invite you to attend the HELORS 2025: 10th International Symposium and 32nd National Conference on Operational Research, which will be held at the Technical University of Crete in Chania on November 20-22, 2025.

Scope
The purpose of the Conference is to disseminate recent scientific advances stemming from the interactions of Operational Research / Management Science (OR/MS), Artificial Intelligence, and Innovation for Energy Transition, as well as to promote international co-operation among researchers and practitioners working in these fields.

Within the framework of the conference, a Workshop with Special Speeches and Sessions in memoriam of Vangelis Grigoroudis will be held.

Conference topics
The Conference welcomes conceptual, methodological and empirical contributions in all fields of Operational Research / Management Science (OR/MS), Artificial Intelligence and Innovation. We invite all researchers, academicians, practitioners, as well as students to participate in the Conference and present their current research in Operational Research by means of methodological tools or techniques (see on the conference website).

Abstract submission deadline: September 14, 2025
Notification of Abstract Acceptance: September 16, 2025

Submissions & Publications

Abstracts (max 300 words) can be submitted through the Easy Chair conference management system.

Book of Abstracts: All abstracts approved for presentation at the Conference will be included in the book of abstracts distributed at the beginning of the Conference. 

Book of Conference Proceedings (ISBN): Authors of papers presented at the conference are invited to submit full papers for publication in the electronic Book of Conference Proceedings with an ISBN.

Publication in Special Issues: On the occasion of the Conference two special issues have been arranged: a. Operational Research: An International Journal (ORIJ) (IF 2024: 2.7). and b. International Journal of Decision Support Systems (IJDSS).
