Date: December 1-15, 2023

ISCSO, an international student competition in structural optimization, was conceived over a decade ago with the primary objective of hosting an annual online event to encourage students to tackle engineering optimization problems. Participants receive a specified structure and a set of design rules, and are challenged to optimize the design within a set timeframe. The participant achieving the lightest feasible design is awarded with the prize that is sponsored by ENA-Mitas Group. ISCSO, which started small, has grown significantly, attracting hundreds of participants from over 30 countries and winning teams from leading international universities (Past Events). The competition is organized and judged by members of a scientific committee from various universities worldwide. Students from all academic backgrounds and levels are encouraged to participate in ISCSO 2023.
