The Department of Industrial Engineering at Universidad del Bío-Bío, Concepción, Chile, invites applications for faculty position beginning September 2012.

We seek outstanding candidates for faculty positions in the areas of Management, Production, Distribution and Logistics at the Assistant/Associate Professor level.

Applicants in research areas including production systems, supply chain management and service systems are encouraged to apply.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. and must demonstrate a strong commitment to high-quality research and evidence of teaching potential. Experience related to manufacturing and/or service operations is desirable.
